Automatic care

Less to remember between loads.

Automatic dispensing and generous lint storage take care of the small jobs that tend to come with every load.

Automatic dispensing

Refill less often

Automatic dispensers at the bottom of the machine hold detergent, fabric softener and bleach and dispense what your selected cycle needs. They use specific liquids, with compatibility and refill details to come.

Use your preferred compatible laundry products in the regular top-left dispenser for individual loads. Turn automatic dosing off when dispensing manually.

Lint storage

Clean out less often

A large lint collector stores lint between loads. Washer One tells you when it needs attention, and access from the front keeps emptying straightforward.

Follow the care reminders on the machine. High-lint loads may need attention sooner.

Routine care

A little care, clearly explained

Care reminders guide you through the lint collector, dispenser and drum-cleaning routine. Clear instructions help you keep Washer One ready for the next load.

Your controls.

Choose a cycle, adjust the settings and start a load right on the machine. Washer One can work without Wi-Fi or an account. No subscription is required.

The settings you use most

Save your favorites, with a clear display for time remaining and care reminders.

Connected when you want

We recommend connecting to Wi-Fi and creating an account for software updates, cycle notifications and remote progress checks. Everyday washing and drying still work without them.

Software you can keep

Open-source software gives owners and service technicians a way to understand the controls and keep them useful over time.

For the years ahead

Made to stay part of your home.

Washer One brings heavier-duty components together with a design that is easy to service. When a part needs attention, it can be replaced so the rest of the machine can keep working.

Stronger where it matters

The drum support, bearings and suspension are designed around repeated daily use.

Easy to service

Thoughtful access and clear documentation make service a breeze.

Keep the machine you know

Replaceable components help a small repair stay small, without turning it into a whole-machine replacement.

Keeping a useful machine in service means fewer whole appliances to replace.

Capacity and cycles

Room for everyday laundry.

A 4.5 cu. ft. drum handles everyday clothes, towels and bedding. Wash and dry up to 18 lb in one continuous cycle, or wash up to 22 lb when you plan to air-dry some of the load.

Leave room for fabrics to move freely. Bulky items can fill the drum before they reach the weight limit. Always follow the care label.

Parts and service questions
What the warranty covers

Functional defects and premature failure under normal household use are covered for 25 years from delivery. Covered diagnosis, parts, labor and necessary service travel within the supported sales area are included without a deductible.

Routine cleaning, cosmetic wear that does not affect function, misuse, accidental damage, improper installation and commercial use are treated separately. If work is outside coverage, we explain why and agree on any cost before it begins.

The remaining warranty follows the machine when it changes household owners. Contact Burnish before a covered repair so we can arrange the work and payment. Independent service does not automatically remove coverage for an unrelated issue.

When a covered machine cannot reasonably be repaired, Burnish is responsible for the remedy described in the full warranty. Complete written terms will be provided before purchase.

Everyday laundry

Does Washer One really wash and dry the same load?

Yes. Select a wash-and-dry cycle and Washer One moves from washing to vented drying automatically. You can wash and dry up to 18 lb of suitable laundry without moving it to another machine.

Can I wash without drying or dry without washing?

Yes. Choose wash only for items you want to air-dry, or dry only for a separate drying cycle. Rinse and spin, spin only and air-only tumbling are also available.

How much laundry does it hold?

The 4.5 cu. ft. drum holds up to 22 lb for washing or 18 lb for a continuous wash-and-dry cycle. Bulky items may reach the usable space limit sooner. Leave room for the load to move freely.

Why is the wash-only load larger than the wash-and-dry load?

Drying needs space for fabrics to tumble and air to circulate. Keep a continuous wash-and-dry load within 18 lb. If you wash more than that, remove some items before drying the remainder.

How long does a full cycle take?

The display shows an estimated finish time and updates it as the cycle runs. Load size, fabric type, incoming water conditions and drying settings affect the time. Smaller, lightly soiled loads can use Quick; towels and bulky items can take longer.

Can I wash sheets and comforters?

Yes, when the item is machine-washable and fits with enough room to move. Sheets and suitable bedding can use the Bedding cycle. Check the care label and load guide; very bulky comforters may need a larger machine even when they are under the weight limit.

Can it care for delicates, wool and activewear?

Yes. Choose the cycle and heat setting that match the fabric. Delicates and Activewear have dedicated programs, and machine-washable wool has a gentle wash-only option. Air-dry anything whose care label does not allow tumble drying.

Is one combo as fast at multiple loads as a separate pair?

For one load, Washer One’s vented drying is designed to match the total wash-and-dry time of a separate washer and vented dryer, without the handoff. For several loads, a separate pair can wash one load while drying another. For greater throughput, you can install two Washer Ones and run two loads at once, with each machine handling its load from washing through drying.

Fit and installation

Will it fit a standard laundry space?

Washer One is 27 inches wide, 39 inches high and 33 inches deep including the closed door. Allow additional space for connections, door movement and service access. Check the dimensions and installation guide against your room and delivery route.

Does it need an outdoor vent?

Yes. Washer One uses vented electric drying and needs an approved duct to the outdoors. It is a suitable choice for a laundry space with the right vent and electrical connections.

Can it use my existing dryer vent?

Often, yes. Your installer should confirm the duct size, length, bends, condition and outdoor termination against the installation guide. A suitable existing vent can be reused after it has been checked and cleaned.

What power supply does it need?

A dedicated 120/240 V, 60 Hz, 30 A laundry circuit is required. Have your installer check the circuit and outlet before delivery. Washer One cannot run from a normal 120 V household outlet.

Can it go in a condo, closet or under a counter?

Yes, where the space has suitable power, water, drainage and an approved outdoor exhaust route. A closet also needs the specified ventilation and clearances. A counter must be tall enough for the 39-inch machine and the required space above it; a standard 36-inch kitchen counter is too low.

Can it replace a gas dryer setup?

Yes, if the space is converted for an electric appliance. A qualified professional must make the unused gas connection safe and confirm the required electrical circuit, water, drain and vent. Installation work depends on your home.

Why is Washer One heavier than some washing machines?

Its approximate 330 lb weight allows for heavier-duty components and the structure needed to support them. Professional handling is important. Check the delivery path, stairs and floor with your installer.

Can I stack it, reverse the door or add a pedestal?

Washer One combines washing and drying in one cabinet, so it does not need a stacked dryer. Use it as a freestanding appliance or in an approved cabinet opening. Door reversal and pedestals are not part of the initial offering; check the installation guide before planning around either.

Care and software

Can I use my usual detergent?

Yes. Use your preferred compatible HE detergent in the regular top-left dispenser, which you fill for each load. The automatic dispensers at the bottom use specific liquids. We will share liquid compatibility and refill details before ordering opens.

Can I use pods, powder or a different detergent for one load?

Yes. Turn automatic detergent dosing off for that load. Use the regular top-left dispenser for compatible per-load products, following the care guide. Put pods and powder only in their approved locations, never in the automatic liquid reservoirs at the bottom.

Do I have to use softener or bleach?

No. Both are optional. Leave them off when you do not need them, and enable them only for suitable loads. Use the correct reservoir and follow the fabric-care and laundry-product instructions.

How often do I refill the reservoirs and empty lint?

The machine reminds you when the bottom automatic dispensers need a refill or the lint collector needs emptying. Timing depends on dose settings, load sizes and fabrics. The regular top-left dispenser is filled separately for each load when you choose manual dosing. Follow each care reminder before continuing.

Does it need Wi-Fi, an app or an account?

Not for everyday washing and drying. Washer One can run its cycles, settings and care reminders without Wi-Fi, an app or an account. We recommend connecting to Wi-Fi and creating an account for software updates, cycle notifications and remote progress checks. No subscription is required.

Are there subscriptions or locked cycles?

No. Washing, drying, software updates and connected features do not require a subscription. The included cycles and everyday functions also work offline.

Does it support Home Assistant?

Yes. A documented local integration lets Home Assistant read cycle status and remaining time without depending on a Burnish cloud service. The machine’s own controls continue to work independently.

Can I update the software and keep using it if internet service goes down?

Yes. We recommend Wi-Fi and an account for software updates that bring fixes and improvements. An offline update method is also available. If your internet service goes down, normal washing, drying and on-machine controls continue to work.

Ownership and support

Is Washer One supported if I need help?

Yes. Contact Burnish for help with setup, care or a problem. A person will help you work through the next step and arrange a repair when needed. You do not need to diagnose the machine or find parts yourself.

What does the 25-year warranty cover?

It covers functional defects and premature failures under normal household use, including the parts and labor needed for covered repairs. Routine cleaning, accidental damage and improper installation are treated separately. Read the full warranty for coverage, exclusions and how to make a claim.

Do I have to pay for a covered repair?

No. Covered diagnosis, parts, labor and necessary service travel within the supported sales area are included without a deductible. If work is outside coverage, we explain the reason and agree on any cost with you before it begins.

Can an independent technician repair it?

Yes. Qualified independent technicians can access service information and replacement parts. For a warranty repair, contact Burnish first so we can arrange the work and covered payment. Independent service does not automatically remove coverage for an unrelated problem.

Will replacement parts be available long term?

Yes. Long-term parts support is part of the ownership commitment. We support repair with replaceable components, clear part identification and service information. When a covered part is unavailable, Burnish remains responsible for the remedy described in the warranty.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the machine or my home?

Yes. The remaining warranty stays with the machine when it changes household owners. Contact Burnish to update the ownership details and keep the original delivery date and service history together.

Can I repair it myself?

Yes, where the task is appropriate for an owner and you can follow the service instructions safely. You can also choose a qualified technician. Contact Burnish before a covered repair so the work and any parts are handled under the warranty.
